WennSoft Construction Software Named 2010 Top Product
WennSoft®, a leading provider of operational management, financial and CRM software for construction, service and equipment intensive industries, announces the immediate availability of WennSoft Classic 2010. This release is focused on optimizing the processes needed to be more effective in providing better service to customers, and providing the cross-business visibility needed to ensure compliance and maximize profit margins.
WennSoft Classic 2010 makes field staff more productive through the software’s mobility module, MobileTEC. In addition to being able to remotely update schedules and record expenses, MobileTEC enables field staff to capture multiple signatures, generate invoices and accept payments while in the field. This new functionality will drive efficiencies by completing work normally done by the back office. It will also help bring payments into the organization more quickly.
WennSoft Classic 2010 has added functionality designed specifically for organizations that perform work in the public sector. Since most government contracts require reporting to ensure compliance with prevailing wage, WennSoft expanded its prevailing wage functionality by including the ability to create a shift premium when entering time against jobs, service calls or work orders.
WennSoft Classic 2010 is a complete solution offering an array of new enhancements. The product is built on Microsoft technologies, and is compatible to Microsoft Dynamics GP® 2010.

WennSoft Classic 2010 delivers additional enhancements to further improve operational excellence. It offers reporting enhancements via SQL Reporting Services that make it easier to share, modify and tailor reports to the meet the specific requirements of each user. Classic 2010 also introduces functionality that improves tracking and data-entry of labor, including greater visibility into pay rates for employees, streamlined prevailing wage data-entry,and enhancements designed to improve rental utilization.
In addition to the many enhancements, this release is accompanied by a change in the product name. The new product name, WennSoft Classic 2010, will help differentiate the WennSoft Inc. from the products it offers. WennSoft has also adopted a year-based versioning as part of its brand name. This will support the continuity and clarity of product compatibility between WennSoft Classic and Microsoft Dynamics GP.
