Accurate Forecasting

Many legacy systems don’t have built in forecasting capabilities.   • Manage your Contract Spend Plan – Allows the entry of estimated costs by date for each cost code estimate amount (for labor estimates, hours per date range).

  • Forecast Revisions by Unit – Forecasting for units at the cost-code level allows you to measure profitability of job, work order or contracts, and manage forecast revisions like change orders
  • POC Based on Labor Hours – Enables the use of actual labor hours divided by forecasted labor hours to determine percent complete for revenue recognition and recognize revenue.

Change Order Tracking

If change orders are not tracked properly or if it’s not easy for the project manager to log them into the software, accurate forecasting becomes difficult. As change orders are processed, project managers must have the ability to see their current status or implications on the budgeted dollar amounts within phases and tasks.

Change order and cash receipt history are available for closed jobs. The job history window allows the view of change order and cash receipt details for closed jobs, which can be helpful in analyzing the success of past jobs and estimating new projects.

It is often a challenge to track these assets and descriptive information about them. Without basic asset information, it becomes difficult to manage this part of your business.
