Microsoft Dynamics GP 2009 Year End Payroll Update Compatibility Notice

Please review the following to ensure your WennSoft version is compatible with the latest Dynamics GP 2009 Year End Payroll Updates prior to year end, as an upgrade may be required:

GP 9.0 SP4 with 2009 Year End Payroll Update:
WennSoft 9.0b01SP3 (9.00b01g028)
WennSoft 9.0EXSP6 (9.00b02g088)

GP 10.0 SP4 with Year End Payroll Update:
WennSoft 10.0b01SP3 (10.00b01g064)
WennSoft 10EXFP1 (10.00b02g073)

Note: WennSoft version 10EX customers will be required to update to WennSoft version 10EX FP1 in order to maintain compatibility with Dynamics GP 10.0 SP4 as there are table and trigger changes in this version which are not compatible with WennSoft v10EX (10.00b02g049)

WennSoft Version 10.0 EX Feature Pack 1 is now available.
This document details enhancements that have been made. The code can be downloaded from the resources section of the website. NOTICE TO MICROSOFT SQL 2000 USERS: Please do not install this product, this version is not compatible with Microsoft SQL 2000.

Discontinuation of Support Notice
Effective October 13, 2009 WennSoft will discontinue Standard Technical Support for all Version 8.0 and 8.0EX Solutions. We encourage you to contact your account manager, or you may send a message to customerteam@wennsoft.com, for upgrade planning assistance or to discuss a custom plan for your continued technical support needs.

Windows 7 Compatibility

We are excited to communicate that WennSoft version 10.0EX is compatible with the new Windows 7 operating system.  While the official release of the OS from Microsoft is slated for October 22, 2009 - WennSoft products should have no issues running on this platform.

WennSoft Business Portal for version 10.0EX Released
The 10.0EX version of WennSoft Business Portal includes registration key validation, some performance enhancements and compatibility updates for new tables that were introduced with the 10.0EX WennSoft Product Releases.  The code can be downloaded from the Resources section of this site.
