Service Requests & Work Orders
Service requests (constituent submitted) and work orders
(staff assigned) are critical aspects of day-to-day operations. Service request
require examination before the allocation of resources. Work orders represent a
formal delegation of staff and internal and external resources to fix a problem.
Work orders can be preventative in nature with regularly scheduled occurrences
or reactionary in nature. In all cases, organizations need to capture all
expenses related to that work and, at times, process invoices to 3rd parties and
purchase materials to complete the work.
